Behind every successful social movement is a community, or a network of communities. These communities do not just happen. They must be organized. Community organizing is “the process of bringing people together to use their collective power to win improvements in people’s lives and challenge the power structure.” In this interactive introduction to organizing, you we will learn together how organizing is different from other approaches to social change and touch on the fundamentals of organizing.
