Liza Blomquist, Director of Communication and Outreach


With Indiana Campus Compact since September 2003, Liza manages all aspects of communications, media relations, marketing, stakeholder reports, social media, and website development for Indiana Campus Compact (ICC). She also manages the Annual Service Engagement Awards, Listening to Communities Grant, program development for ICC events, leads the ICC Advisory Council, and serves as the primary contact for faculty, staff, students, and administrators on ICC’s 40 member campuses. Liza also manages partnerships with community organizations and serves on the award committee the Governor’s Conference on Service and Non-Profit Capacity Building and the steering committee of the International Symposium for Service Learning.

Liza was a contributing editor to It’s Not Over on Election Day! A Handbook for Cultivating Civically Engaged Voters on College and University Campuses (Indiana Campus Compact 2008) as part of the iVote initiative she directed. Previously, she worked as Director of Operations for Meridian Academy of the Arts and has been active with UNICEF, United Christmas Service, and the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. Liza is Chair of the IUPUI Bread for the World Chapter.
