Join experts from around the country, the region, and from our own backyards as we explore community engagement in higher education.
The 11th Annual Indiana Campus Compact Summit will be a virtual event for 2021 and will be held February 24, 25, and 26, 2021. The goal in spreading the event over three days is so that we can provide programming for a few hours each day in order to avoid virtual gathering fatigue.
While there will be challenges that stem from holding the event through an online platform, we see opportunities as well. Faculty and staff on campuses across the nation are likely facing deep or total cuts to their professional development budgets. Our virtual Summit will include the same quality keynote speakers, workshops, and networking we have provided in the past, but with no travel costs, and a reduced registration cost.
We will once again partner with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and with our new partner Independent Colleges of Indiana as we plan the program.
The Summit will also include a virtual awards celebration – we have some fun ideas and can’t wait to celebrate with our incredible partners!

We are seeking sessions that take our theme, Coming Together for the Common Good, and weave it into the broad subject of community engagement in higher education with topics that address current situations, a look to the future, or even a constructive look back. Presenters are invited to describe how they define and achieve the common good in their work, we are a not limiting proposals to a specific conception of the common good.
