Registration will open in February 2017

  • Any other national or state’s Campus Compact partner: $25
  • Non-Campus Compact Partners: Not eligible for attending

This webinar is designed to introduce you to Carnegie’s Classification for Community Engagement and support you in determining whether the Classification is attainable for your institution, at this time.

In January of 2018 Carnegie will release its next application process that must be completed by April 2019, in order to be considered for this prestigious classification in the year 2020. Why attend this webinar so far in advance of January 2018? Because you should have a designated team of campus and community stakeholders formed when you return to campus in August of 2018 so that you can get to work on this large endeavor. This endeavor is not limited to only the formation of the team, however, it very much depends on how well your institution can track and monitor (if not assess) its community engagement activities and partnerships, so you know what you are doing, with whom, for how long, and to what ends. This crucial part- tracking and monitoring community engagement- will be a key focus of our discussion during this webinar.

If you have never completed this application before, this webinar will be a great introduction to what this process requires. It requires much more than one person and their time or talents; it requires a concerted effort across your campus and community. Indiana Campus Compact, therefore, is here to assist you in not only understanding what this process requires, but what support we can offer in order to make this as smooth an endeavor as possible.
