Program Director for Student Development

The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage the annual student grant line item, application and review processes, awards, and reporting for up to 20 grants per year from various Indiana Campus Compact member institutions throughout the state. This position is responsible for the direction, planning, and implementation of student leadership events and programs, which includes working with key constituents such as college/university faculty and staff, student leaders, funders, and appointed state officials and being able to effectively manage diverse personalities.

 

***This is a half-time position (20 hours per week).***

Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, plus 2 years of related experience required. Experience must be with students in a higher education work environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with direct service-learning/civic engagement student programming. Master's preferred.

Clear and effective oral and written communication skills; the ability to concentrate; the ability to read and write documents; the ability to problem solve; ability to act creatively; ability to manage diverse, statewide student programming; and the ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced office.
