Student Community Service Mini-grants (CSMG)
Overview
Available to any student attending an Indiana Campus Compact member campus, Community Service Mini-Grants (CSMG) provide Indiana college students with hands on experiences in designing and implementing quality, direct service projects that address local community issues and needs while giving students an opportunity to apply for, manage, and implement a grant. Successful CSMG projects must: 1.) identify and address a critical need or issue affecting the local community; 2.) include a direct service component that reaches beyond the college/university campus and connects students with the local community; and 3.) offer a long-term benefit to the community. In addition to CSMG funds, ICC is committed to support National Day of Service projects. Through the Day of Service (DoS) Action grant program, ICC has engaged thousands of campus and community volunteers in the growing movement of supporting National Days of Service.
