Indiana Campus Compact is pleased to announce that two of our member institutions are represented; William Oakes, Purdue University has won the prestigious Erhlich Faculty Award and Steven Cartwright, University of Notre Dame was awarded the coveted Swearer Student Award.   The award winners were recoginzed at the Campus Compact 20th Anniversary Gala in Chicago on October 16, 2006.

The Thomas Ehrlich Faculty Award for Service-Learning recognizes and honors one faculty member each year for contributing to the integration of community or public service into the curriculum and for efforts to institutionalize service-learning.

The Howard Swearer Student Humanitarian Award recognizes five students each year for their outstanding public service and provides financial support toward their continued efforts to address societal needs.
