Faculty Fellows Class of 2007-2008 creates excitement about Service-learning!

The 12th class of Faculty Fellows has been selected and excitement is in the air! With the first planning Retreat under their belts and the new academic year rapidly approaching, Fellows continue to work on individual projects while preparing for their joint project of writing, assembling and editing a publication of ‘Quick Hits’ for service-learning.  The synergy of the 2007-2008 class has streamed into the new year, as four of last year’s Fellows return to take on this group project while moving their individual service-learning incentives to the next level of accomplishment.  Two new Fellows join the class, bringing with them a range of expertise in the fields of education, world literature and modern languages.  From asset mapping to neighborhood building to bilingual outreach, the Faculty Fellows class of ’07-’08 promises to expand the scope and the impact of service-learning across the state through their individual work and their collective endeavors.  Stay tuned for new developments!  - Ange Cooksey, Senior Fellow
