Forum for Democracy, a non-partisan free web site, launched its Beta version on Monday, October 8th.  Students are invited to weigh in on either side of the public policy debates the site is conducting on a weekly basis.

The International Association for Research on Service-learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE)  is providing funding for ten $500 scholarships for graduate students for support to attend the Seventh International Research Conference on Service-Learning and Community Engagement "Sustainability and Scholarship: Research and the K-20 Continuum" OCTOBER 6-9, 2007, Tampa, FL

Applications now available.   Each participant will be accepted as a top young activist demonstrating a citizen-centered approach to engagement in their community and be provided opportunities to learn from and teach their best practices to the other conference attendees, as they create a sustainable network of Democracy 2.0 Ambassadors.
