Jackie McCracken, Executive Director - [email protected]
Jackie joined ICC as Associate Director in March 2003. From 1988 -2002, Jackie served in various professional capacities within the battered women’s movement: as an advocate, educator and administrator. Most recently she was the Executive Director of Breaking Free, Inc. in Indianapolis. Other professional experiences include elementary and secondary education, public relations/communications, and youth ministry. Jackie is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Oldenburg, Indiana, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Marian College in Indianapolis. She received an undergraduate degree from Marian College and a Master’s from the University of Dayton. She also attended Women’s Theological Center sabbatical program in Boston and most recently became a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Program in Indianapolis. Jackie’s volunteer service includes membership on the Finance Committee of Girls, Inc. in Indianapolis.
J.R. Jamison, Associate Director - [email protected]
J.R. became the Associate Director of Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) in July 2006. Prior to his promotion to Associate Director, J.R. served as the Program Director for Constituent Development with the Compact. As the Associate Director, J.R. oversees internal operations of the Compact including staff supervision, program planning, contract negotiation, and assisting the Executive Director with fund development. He also oversees and administers the nationally recognized Faculty Fellows program. Before his tenure with ICC, J.R. was in a variety of administrative roles at Ball State University from 2001 - 2005 in the Office of Leadership and Service- Learning, the Office of Student Organizations and Activities, and the Office of Early Outreach, as well as teaching Introduction to Geography courses to college freshmen and teaching Success in Life courses to college bound, first-generational, minority students. J.R. earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Geography and his Master’s in Higher Education Administration both from Ball State.
As Program Director for Constituent Development, Lindsay is responsible for the administration of sub-grant programs for all students, faculty, and staff. She is also responsible for the facilitation of constituent development in service-learning and civic engagement. Lindsay will work to initiate new constituent development programs, generate funding ideas, and plan special events for constituent groups as needed. Lindsay recently completed a year of AmeriCorps VISTA service at Perry Meridian High School where she assisted in the development of a township-wide service-learning program. She is currently completing a Master of Public Affairs degree through IUPUI with a concentration in Nonprofit Management.
Liza Newman, Membership Coordinator - [email protected]
With ICC since September 2003, Liza fills the role of the newly developed position of Membership Coordinator. In addition to being dedicated to serving our member's needs, touting our member's many accomplishments, facilitating networking among our member campuses, and providing resources, Liza works on web site development, program development, and public relations. Liza is the direct connection to the ICC Networking and Advisory Councils and plans the Councils' annual meetings. Previously, she worked as Director of Operations for Meridian Academy of the Arts and has been active with UNICEF and the United Way.

Leah Ross, ICC’s new Office Manager, joined the staff in February 2007 as Office Manager and was promoted to Budgets and Grants Manager in August 2007. In her new role, Leah maintains systems of fiscal management and serves as personnel and payroll administrator for ICC. Previously, she worked as an administrative assistant of operations for Kelly Services located at Dow Agro Sciences.

Emily Sellers-Christopher, ICC's new GrowIndiana AmeriCorps Program Director, joined the staff in August 2007. As Program Director, Emily will provide leadership and oversight to the GrowIndiana statewide AmeriCorps program and its members. She is responsible for administering the program, tracking and reporting member data and progress, budget management, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations governing the grant. Emily is also responsible for providing training and technical assistance, coordination and support to all AmeriCorps members and host site supervisors. Prior to her current position, Emily served as an AmeriCorps* VISTA Leader through Michigan Campus Compact where she managed the MCC AmeriCorps*VISTA program. Emily has also served as an AmeriCorps*NCCC member, a team-based national and community service organization, based out of Charleston, SC. Through the AmeriCorps*NCCC, Emily traveled across the southeast region of the country providing service to communties and working in a variety of issues. Emily is also a 2005 graduate of Grand Valley State University.
