Re:  Fall 2005 Kick-Off Packets

Greetings from Indiana Campus Compact! I hope this message finds you doing well and enjoying the summer.

We’re excited to announce that our entire Fall 2005 Kick-Off packet is on line, click on the links below to access all the forms and information you will need for the 2005-2006 academic year.  If you would prefer to receive hard copies in the mail, just drop
Liza Newman a line at [email protected] to let her know, and she’ll make sure to send you all the materials you’d like.

On line Fall 2005 Kick-Off Packet :

As a member of the Networking Council, appointed by your President or Chancellor, your attendance at the October 7th meeting is required. We are looking forward to a fun, productive meeting at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. We have a new and improved new member benefitorientation planned as well as a poster session, extended and guided networking time among member campuses, site visit sign ups, tools to take back to campus, and a provocative keynote address. As always, we’ll have breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as some great door prizes, including overnight accommodations at the historic Hampton Inn, downtown Indy! See your agenda for further details!

The staff of Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) has been busy this summer working on structural changes, both in office space (new carpet and paint) and, more importantly, in staffing. We have developed a staffing structure designed to best meet our members’ needs, with an emphasis on providing your faculty, staff, and students with networking, funding, training, and professional development opportunities.  In addition, our new website will provide you with forums, resources, and up to date information from the field of service learning and civic engagement and will be used extensively to market our members’ achievements. We are looking forward to a busy, productive academic year, and invite you to participate in the many programs and events we have planned. I appreciate your dedication to service learning and civic engagement.  ICC is ready to be your one-stop resource center!

Action Steps:

  • RSVP to Liza Newman at 317-6500 or [email protected] by September 26th.
  • Prepare your presentation for the Poster Session
  • Share the information and RFPs from the kick off packet with your colleagues
  • Connect with other Networking Council members from your campus.(We will be sending an updated list once the Presidents and Chancellors make their 05-06 appointments.)

Thank you for your time and your commitment. I look forward to seeing you in October!
