Thematic Issue on People, Programs, and Practices Relating to Interfaith Initiatives in Higher Education

The White House has launched a second year of the President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge with a special invitation to a national convening for all higher education institutions committed to advancing interfaith cooperation on campus. The event will bring colleges and universities together to celebrate the successes of the inaugural year and to formally launch the second year of the President’s Challenge.
The event will begin on Monday, July 9 at 1pm EST at Howard University in Washington, DC and should wrap up by 4:30pm EST on Tuesday, July 10. No formal agenda has been set, but the content of the sessions will be on sharing best practices, profiling successful campuses, with a strong emphasis on networking across different campus communities.
