welcome to Indiana Campus Compact

For over 20 years, Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) has helped member institutions mobilize students state-wide to communities in need. In 2013, ICC supported nearly 15,000 individuals through grant programs, professional development opportunities, resources, and networking. Indiana Campus Compact was formed in 1993 as a formal compact between Indiana college and university presidents to commit themselves to their communities through service. ICC is the only organization in the state that works with public, independent, and two-year institutions of higher education.

The Levinson Center Likes Taking Risks.

levinsoncenter logoIndiana Campus Compact was pleased to welcome The Levinson Center as a new sponsor to the Service Engagement Summit 2013, where they sponsored the Work on Purpose session by Echoing Green.

The Levinson Center (TLC) envisions Indiana as a thriving hub for social entrepreneurs whose innovative, sustainable solutions to pressing social and environmental problems drive needed change both at home and around the world.  TLC offers support from idea to investment to impact. TLC assists in the success of these Indiana-based efforts through four main initiatives: Networking/Connecting, Mentoring, Resources, and Investing.TLC offers consulting for individual social entrepreneurs, colleges/universities, corporations, Community Foundations, incubators, Economic Development Corps, churches, student groups, whatever!

TLC also has a competitive venture incubator Fellows Program. TLC offers its Fellows direct mentoring, free office space, and a think tank environment of bright, like-minded, mission driven, social issue solvers.TLC provides links to pertinent videos, articles, websites, and other helpful assistance in the “Get Inspired” section of its website, and will soon be introducing and expanding a network of start-up friendly microloaners, attorneys, accountants, web builders, graphic artists, grant writers. The “Events”  section lists upcoming Idea-Feedback sessions, Speaker Series, practical workshops, business plan boot camps, and support efforts to bolster directly applicable know-how.Start-up funds (early seed/first round) are often the most difficult to obtain.

Start-ups are risky businesses. TLC likes taking risks. TLC Fellows and select others are eligible for small investment/grant consideration.

Indiana Campus Compact is grateful for The Levinson Center's support. Please check out their website (www.TheLevinsonCenter.org) to learn more and show your support of Indiana Campus Compact sponsors.
