The 2012 Campus Compact Presidential Leadership Summit, will be held on October 14 – 15 in Chattanooga, TN. The theme, Developing Vital, Vibrant and Healthy Communities through Democratic Partnerships and Civic Engagement, will explore the relationship and impact of civic engagement on economic and community development. Prior to the Summit, the Compact will produce a white paper that will set the tone and a new vision for mutually beneficial economic development in higher education.
College and University presidents and chancellors, Campus Compact leadership, representatives from foundations and policy experts will gather for opening remarks and a reception on the evening of Monday October 14. The Summit will continue on Tuesday and will include plenary sessions, panel presentations and discussions.
