Peace First is a national nonprofit organization that exists to create the next generation of peacemakers. Peace First is catalyzing to celebrate young people and their potential to create positive change around them. About the Prize

Modeled as a “Nobel Peace Prize” for youth, the Peace First Prize will celebrate small, courageous and transformative acts of peacemaking by young people and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. The Prize will showcase young people between the ages of 8-22 who have confronted injustice, crossed lines of difference, and had the courage and compassion to create lasting change.

Five Prize winners will each receive a $50,000 Peace First Fellowship over two years to continue their peacemaking work. The fellowship includes a customized curriculum, individual coaching, networking, and mentoring from prominent business and community leaders.
