Bill Gregory has an MA in Sociology and a BS in Business Administration from Miami University. He began his career as a member of the Sociology faculty at Miami University, then worked for the Federal Government and had several years experience in both line management and staff positions in private industry. He was an internal organization development consultant for both Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Chicago, and Ashland Oil, Inc. in Ashland, KY, before becoming a full time external consultant in 1978.
Bill was a partner of New Dynamics Associates for 8 years before starting his own firm, Gregory Associates, in 1986. Bill was Executive Director of the Center for Management Development at Indiana University Northwest in Gary, IN, from 2008-2011. He is an adjunct faculty member in the School of Business & Economics at IUN and also serves as adjunct faculty in the Social Sciences Department at Ivy Tech Community College. Currently Bill serves as a Business Advisor for the Northwest Region of the Indiana Small Business Development Center.
Bill has trained and consulted in a wide range of client systems, including The DuPont Company, Digital Equipment Corporation, FMC Corporation, Shell Oil, Ashland Oil and Ashland Chemical Companies, Bell Communications Research, Bell Telephone Laboratories, Barrus Construction Company, Rust Industrial, Meridian Bancorp, FirstCard, Unum Insurance, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, NASA, Nike, Siemens, Harris Bank, J.P. Morgan Chase, Air Products Co., Inc., Microsoft, BlueCross BlueShield Association, Synovus Bank, Wachovia Bank, Textron and the American Hospital Association.
Bill served for 8 years as a member of the Ogden Dunes, Indiana Town Council, is an active member of the Ogden Dunes Lions Club, serves on the Board of Tradewinds Rehabilitation Center, and serves on the education committee and the business & economic development committee of the Gary, Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
