welcome to Indiana Campus Compact

For over 20 years, Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) has helped member institutions mobilize students state-wide to communities in need. In 2013, ICC supported nearly 15,000 individuals through grant programs, professional development opportunities, resources, and networking. Indiana Campus Compact was formed in 1993 as a formal compact between Indiana college and university presidents to commit themselves to their communities through service. ICC is the only organization in the state that works with public, independent, and two-year institutions of higher education.

Indiana Campus Compact Fall Networking Retreat
September 26, 2014

Register

Participants in this members-only retreat will be able to choose from two tracks during a day of connecting with colleagues, rejuvenation, and professional development at Bradford Woods in Martinsville, IN.

The two tracks will consist of one for practitioners who want to do big picture thinking and planning for the sustainability of the work, and another track for those who desire multiple workshops and breakout sessions.

Track One: Experienced practioners will spend the day doing some big picture thinking and planning for sustainability in their work. This open space meeting will be facilitated by Oren Pizmony-Levy, Assistant Professor, International and Comparative Education, Teacher’s College, Columbia University. Dr. Pizmony-Levy will guide participants through conversations and exercises to help them discover what they can do (together or on their own) to build infrastructure and sustain their work in service engagement with Indiana Campus Compact as a supporting agency.

Track Two: Members who are interested in taking part in multiple workshops will learn about connecting themselves with civic engagement, social justice, and the work we do through a training from the Center for Civic Reflection; connecting with other campuses and their communities with an Indiana Campus Compact Listening to Communities Meeting grant; and connecting with fellow Hoosiers through ALL-IN, a state-wide initiative from Indiana Humanities. Participants in these workshops will be divided into two groups so that they will be able to take part in all three workshops.
